This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Areebi enterprise AI governance platform and related services (the “Services”). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service between you and Areebi Pte. Ltd. (“Areebi”, “we”, “us”). By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
1. Scope
This AUP applies to all users of the Areebi platform, including administrators, end users, API consumers, and any person or system accessing the Services through your account. You are responsible for ensuring that all users under your account comply with this policy.
This AUP applies to all use of the Services, whether accessed through the web application, API, browser extension, or any other interface provided by Areebi.
2. Permitted Use
The Services are designed for legitimate enterprise use. You may use the Services to:
- Deploy and manage AI workspaces for your organisation's employees, contractors, and authorised users.
- Configure and enforce AI governance policies, including data loss prevention rules, access controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor and audit AI usage across your organisation through the platform's built-in analytics and logging capabilities.
- Integrate the Services with your existing enterprise infrastructure, including identity providers, SIEM systems, and compliance tools, using the provided APIs and connectors.
- Generate compliance reports and maintain audit trails as required by applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
3. Prohibited Use
You shall not use the Services, or permit the Services to be used, for any of the following purposes:
3.1 Malicious AI Interactions
- Submitting prompts designed to extract, manipulate, or corrupt the underlying AI models, including prompt injection attacks, jailbreaking attempts, or adversarial inputs.
- Using the platform to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable under applicable law.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, extract training data from, or probe the boundaries of AI models accessed through the platform.
3.2 Circumventing Security Controls
- Attempting to bypass, disable, or circumvent the platform's data loss prevention (DLP) controls, content filtering, or policy enforcement mechanisms.
- Tampering with or attempting to modify audit logs, access control configurations, or compliance settings without proper authorisation.
- Disabling, obfuscating, or interfering with the platform's monitoring, alerting, or reporting capabilities.
- Sharing, transferring, or exposing access credentials, API keys, or authentication tokens to unauthorised parties.
3.3 Unauthorised Data Processing
- Processing personal data through the platform in a manner that violates applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, Australian Privacy Act, or any other applicable privacy regulation.
- Uploading or processing data that you do not have the lawful right to process, including data obtained without proper consent or legal basis.
- Using the Services to process data in violation of your organisation's own data handling policies or contractual obligations to third parties.
- Deliberately submitting sensitive data categories (financial, health, biometric) in a manner designed to evade the platform's DLP detection and classification rules.
3.4 General Prohibitions
- Using the Services in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Engaging in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Services, including denial of service attacks or excessive automated requests.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or making the Services available to any third party without Areebi's prior written consent.
- Using the Services to develop a competing product or service.
4. Enforcement
Areebi reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Upon determining that a violation has occurred, Areebi may take any of the following actions, at its sole discretion:
- Issue a written warning to the account administrator identifying the violation and requiring corrective action.
- Temporarily suspend access to the Services for the offending user or account while an investigation is conducted.
- Permanently terminate the account if the violation is severe, repeated, or the account holder fails to take corrective action within a reasonable timeframe.
- Report the violation to relevant law enforcement authorities if required by applicable law or if the violation involves illegal activity.
Areebi will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Services, other customers, or third parties.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it promptly to security@areebi.com. When reporting a violation, please include:
- A description of the suspected violation
- Any relevant evidence, including timestamps, user identifiers, or screenshots
- Your contact information for follow-up
All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly. Areebi will not retaliate against any person who reports a violation in good faith.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify account administrators of material changes by email and by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified AUP.
