1. Our Commitment
Areebi is committed to ensuring that our website and enterprise AI governance platform are accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility and usability of our digital experiences.
We believe that every user, regardless of ability, should be able to access information about our products, navigate our website, and interact with our platform effectively. Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are dedicated to meeting the needs of our diverse user base.
2. Conformance Status
The Areebi website and platform are partially conformantwith WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We are actively working toward full conformance and are committed to addressing known gaps in accessibility. Our development team incorporates accessibility reviews into every release cycle to ensure continued progress toward full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
3. Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following accessibility features across our website and platform:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, allowing users to navigate, activate controls, and complete actions without a mouse.
- ARIA labels and landmarks: We use Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) attributes and landmark roles to help assistive technologies identify and navigate page regions and interactive elements.
- Reduced motion support: Our site respects the
prefers-reduced-motion system setting, minimising or disabling animations and transitions for users who have indicated a preference for reduced motion. - Semantic HTML structure: We use semantic HTML elements (headings, lists, navigation, main, footer) to provide a logical document structure that assistive technologies can interpret correctly.
- Form labels and error messages: All form inputs include descriptive labels and associated error messages that are programmatically linked to their respective fields, ensuring screen readers can convey the purpose and state of each control.
- Colour contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) to ensure readability for users with low vision or colour deficiencies.
- Skip-to-content links: A skip navigation link is provided to allow keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and jump directly to the main content area.
- Screen reader compatibility: Our navigation and content are structured to work with popular screen readers, providing a coherent reading order and meaningful announcements for dynamic content changes.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Interactive charts and calculators: Some interactive data visualisations, including the ROI calculator, may have limited screen reader support. We are working to provide accessible alternatives such as data tables and text summaries for all chart-based content.
- Third-party content: Certain embedded third-party widgets or services may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We work with our vendors to encourage accessibility improvements and seek alternatives where necessary.
We are actively addressing these limitations and aim to resolve them in upcoming releases.
5. Testing
We employ a combination of automated and manual testing methodologies to evaluate and maintain the accessibility of our website and platform:
- Automated testing: We use axe-core and other automated accessibility testing tools integrated into our development pipeline to catch common accessibility issues early in the development process.
- Manual screen reader testing: Our team performs regular manual testing with screen readers, including NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), to verify that content is correctly announced and navigable.
- Keyboard-only testing: We test all interactive workflows using keyboard-only navigation to ensure complete functionality without a pointing device.
- Third-party audits: We conduct periodic accessibility audits with independent third-party experts to identify gaps and validate our conformance status.
6. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Areebi website and platform. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, have difficulty accessing any content, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and will work with you to provide the information or functionality you need through an accessible alternative.
7. Enforcement and Legal Framework
This accessibility statement has been prepared with reference to the following applicable laws and standards:
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): Title III of the ADA prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in places of public accommodation, which has been interpreted to include websites and digital services.
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act: Requires federal agencies and their contractors to ensure that electronic and information technology is accessible to people with disabilities. Areebi supports Section 508 compliance for government customers.
- European Accessibility Act (EAA): The EAA establishes accessibility requirements for products and services across the European Union, including digital services. Areebi is working to ensure compliance with EAA requirements as they come into effect.
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1: An internationally recognised standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) that provides guidelines for making web content more accessible. Areebi targets Level AA conformance.
We are committed to maintaining compliance with applicable accessibility laws in all jurisdictions where we operate.
8. VPAT and Section 508 Compliance
Areebi maintains a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) based on the ITI VPAT 2.5 format, documenting our product's conformance with the revised Section 508 standards (aligned with WCAG 2.1 Level AA) and the EN 301 549 European ICT accessibility requirements.
Enterprise and government procurement teams may request a copy of our current VPAT by contacting accessibility@areebi.com. We update the VPAT with each major product release to reflect the latest accessibility testing results.
